To the sky's!

So picked up a cheap stormraven off eBay and was really surprised by the size and detail of the model.

So now il explain my process of turning this steal off eBay to a spartan bad boy!

Simply started with a black undercoat.

Then cracked out the airbrush painting it all a shade of brass. Then a shade of light gold on top to give the effect of sunlight hitting the top of the craft.

A mix of water and a sepia wash was put over all the gold to give a little weathered look.

Then we start cracking on to the details I picked out a few panels and painted dark red with a black wash.

Now I'm kinda sleepy so will be adding more soon as I've had sleep! Keep tuned for part 2 :)

I'm Batman.

So got a 1-9 scale batman. Was easy to put together and the detailing was great. Airbrushed most of him in stages then final details with a brush.

Was great fun to paint. Hope you like :) 

The start of something!

So for many years I've been painting mini's of all types but since I can remember playing 40k I wanted to do a sons of Sparta chapter for the marines. Now many years on I've finally started it :) 

Here's the start of a tactical squad with the help of the airbrush I'm flying through them.

But as fast as I paint I still love buying the mini's.
